Business Impact

What you’ll notice about these Terms is that they don’t read like the typical wall of legalese.
That’s on purpose.
These are our promises to you. And in return, your promises to us.
You’re about to do something most business owners never do — actually work on your business instead of just in it. The owners who go through the BIZcraft 90 days, or stay with us through Coaching, end up with something different on the other side: a business that runs without them in the seat every minute, predictable growth instead of feast and famine, and the kind of owner freedom most people in trades only talk about.
This isn’t a course you watch. It’s work we do together.
Lead Bravely. We’re going to ask you to make decisions you’ve been putting off. Raise prices that should have been raised a year ago. Fire the client who drains you. Hire the person who scares you. Stop hiding behind “I’m too busy.”
Boldly Face Challenges. We’re going to ask you to look at the numbers you’ve been avoiding, the conversations you’ve been ducking, the systems you know are broken. To do hard things on purpose, because that’s where growth lives.
Make an Impact. On your family, your team, your customers, and the community around you. We believe businesses are the most powerful force for good on the planet. We expect you to use yours that way.
Our mission is to create world abundance, one business at a time. That starts with yours.
We’re glad you’re in.
— Wes Kowalchuk, Founder, Business Impact
Once we’ve made an agreement — start date, scope, price, schedule — that’s the deal. If we change it, the cost is on us. If you change it, the cost is on you. Stuff happens, and we’ll be reasonable. But the default rule is: whoever moves the goalposts pays for moving them.
For the program you’ve signed up for, we’re agreeing to deliver the things laid out in your offer or proposal. Depending on the program, that includes:
We promise to show up, prepared, and bring our best work. We promise to keep your business and your numbers confidential. We promise to push you, sometimes harder than feels comfortable, because that’s what you’re paying for.
Business Impact Coaching Inc. is the licensed operator of the BIZcraft methodology and brand.
That’s not a typo.
Our programs are tools. Tools only work when you use them. The track record of our clients is real and we’re proud of it — but every result on that record came from an owner who did the work, not from the program working on them.
If you show up, do the assignments, take the actions we agree on, and stay in the conversation, you’re going to see big shifts. If you don’t, you won’t.
We’re a coaching firm. We are not your accountant, lawyer, or financial advisor. Anything we share is general business guidance to help you decide. The big calls on contracts, taxes, money, and risk are still yours, and you should run them by your own qualified advisors before you act.
The BIZcraft methodology, frameworks, workbooks, lessons, recordings, scorecards, templates, and supporting materials — including everything inside our programs — are owned by Business Impact Coaching Inc. and are licensed to you for your personal use in your own business while you are an active client. You don’t get the right to reuse them with your clients, sell them, post them publicly, or share them with non-clients.
Physical and PDF workbooks we hand you are yours to keep. Anything inside our online portal stays our property; your access ends when your engagement ends.
Your business, your numbers, your story, and the work product you create using our frameworks — those are yours.
Assume our sessions are recorded for your review and to improve our work. If you don’t want a session recorded, tell us in writing before it starts and we’ll honour that. Recording our sessions on your end without permission is not allowed.
Inside our community, our sessions, and any group settings, we expect everyone to act like a decent adult. That goes for you, for me, for any coach we bring in, and for every other client in the room.
No harassment, no insults, no putting down other clients’ businesses, no behaviour that would embarrass you if your kids were watching. Anyone who can’t manage that — including us — will be asked to leave.
Diagnostic ($497). Once the diagnostic session is delivered or your report is sent, the engagement is complete. There is nothing to cancel.
Deep Dive ($1,997). Once the engagement has started (first working session held), it cannot be cancelled. Before the first session, you can reschedule once at no cost. A second reschedule moves the engagement to the next available cohort window at our discretion.
BIZcraft 90-Day Program ($5,997). This is a 90-day commitment. You’re enrolling for the full program, not session by session. Cancellation in the middle of the 90 days does not stop billing of the remaining payments and does not entitle you to a refund (see Section 7). The program ends naturally at day 90.
BI Coaching (recurring). Monthly or quarterly, billed in advance. To cancel, send us an email at info@business-impact.ca at least 7 days before your next billing date. We don’t pro-rate partial months — your access continues to the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
We don’t refund because the work got hard, you fell behind, you didn’t show up, you stopped doing the assignments, or you changed your mind. None of those mean we failed to deliver — they mean the work is doing its job.
A refund of fees paid will be considered if we materially fail to deliver, which means:
Life happens — illness, family emergency, a major business event outside your control. If something like that hits during your program, talk to us. We’ll be as flexible as we can on rescheduling, pausing, or moving you to a future cohort. We will only take responsibility for things inside our control (see Section 1).
Sessions are where the work happens. Showing up matters more than anything else you’ll do that week.
If you miss a session, the world doesn’t end. Sessions are recorded and assignments still apply. Repeated missed sessions, however, mean we’re not getting traction — we’ll have a direct conversation about whether the program is the right fit.
In the BIZcraft 90-Day Program, you may pause your membership once, for up to 30 days, for a genuine life-circumstances reason (medical, family, major business event). Pause requests must be in writing to info@business-impact.ca and approved by us before they take effect. Your fee schedule pauses with you. Your enrolment fee, if separate, cannot be paused.
When you sign up, you give us a card or payment method on file. That account will be charged on the schedule in your offer or proposal — whether monthly, in instalments, or as a one-time payment.
If a payment fails, we’ll email you. If it fails again, we’ll call. After 30 days of being in arrears, we will reattempt the charge automatically. After 60 days, we may suspend your access to the program and hand the unpaid balance to a collections agency, at which point you’ll also be on the hook for the cost of collection. Even if you stop attending, payments you’ve committed to remain due.
If your card expires or is replaced, we may obtain the updated number from your card issuer to keep your account current. You agree to keep your billing information accurate.
We reserve the right to assign this contract and any outstanding balance to a related entity or third party.
Anything you share with us about your business, your numbers, your team, your clients, or your personal life inside coaching is confidential. We don’t share it with other clients, we don’t share it publicly, and we don’t sell it.
How we collect and handle data through the website is set out in our Privacy Policy.
If we ever want to share a story or result from your business publicly (case study, testimonial, social post), we will ask you first and only proceed with your written approval.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada. Any dispute we can’t resolve directly goes to the courts of Alberta, sitting in Calgary, unless we agree in writing to arbitrate instead.
If any one section above is ever found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and your individual offer or engagement letter, are the full agreement between you and Business Impact Coaching Inc. Anything said verbally, in marketing, or in passing that contradicts what is written here doesn’t override what is written here.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always live at business-impact.ca/terms with the date last updated. Your continued participation after an update means you have accepted the update.
You’ve read it. We’ve laid it out. From here on, the work is in front of us.
Lead bravely. Boldly face the challenges. Make an impact.
Let’s get to it.
